Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, and packaging systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC's and other electrical control systems.
  • Utilize your expertise in pneumatics to maintain and improve our equipment's performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, using your knowledge and experience to identify and fix problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist in the design and installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring that all systems meet our high standards of safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work, contributing to our ongoing effort to improve procedures and best practices.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls.
  • Proven experience working with motors, conveyors, packaging equipment, and Allen Bradley PLC's.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.
  • A commitment to safety and efficiency, with a track record of maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Ability to document all work performed and contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Must be able to work independently and make decisions based on a thorough understanding of the necessary technical requirements.
