Your Role:
As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and responding to acute changes in patients' conditions
- Monitoring heart rhythms and recognizing arrhythmias
- Providing care for patients recovering from various cardiac procedures
Our Unique Environment:
Our specialized Cardiac Telemetry unit consists of two dedicated 29-bed units, focusing on the care of cardiac patients. We handle a range of conditions, including:
- Acute and chronic heart failure
- Electrophysiology procedures
- Post-operative care for open heart surgery patients
Research Medical Center is distinguished for its collaboration with cardiology providers, ensuring that our nursing staff delivers the highest standard of evidence-based care.
Growth Opportunities:
Working in our cardiac progressive care units provides an excellent foundation for developing critical thinking and nursing skills. Many of our nurses advance to roles in ICU, cardiac catheterization labs, or leadership positions within 18 to 24 months.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS certification within six months
- Previous clinical experience is preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
