Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in San Luis Obispo, California.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including echocardiography and vascular ultrasound
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the imaging process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • RDMS or RDCS certification in adult and pediatric echocardiography
  • 3+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods
