Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in San Luis Obispo, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operating imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and vascular studies
  • Operate imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and scanners
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including preparing patients for procedures and explaining test results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and test results
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RDCS or RCS)
  • Experience working in a hospital or imaging department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
