Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Diabetes and Endocrinology team at the Denver Midtown Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients with acute and chronic needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and patient care tasks in accordance with Intermountain Health's MGPSMA Scope of Practice and established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and visitors to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Prepare patients for health care provider visits, maintain a positive attitude, and attend to their needs.
  • Coordinate care, administer care, and document appropriately to ensure accurate patient records.
  • Obtain and record patient information, vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certified Medical Assistant.
  • Current BLS Certification is required upon hire or within 60 days of hire upon approval.
  • Three months previous experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF AN ACCREDITED NATIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAM FOR CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANTS (CMA) OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (RMA).
  • ONE (1) YEAR MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $18.29 - $23.55 per hour. Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that covers a wide range of programs to foster a sustainable culture of wellness.
