Role Summary

We are seeking multiple Technical Systems Specialists to play a pivotal role in our agile software development teams. In this capacity, you will be integral to the systems engineering lifecycle, acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing customer requirements and operational concepts to formulate system specifications.
  • Facilitating validation of requirements and exploring alternative solutions.
  • Leading design and development initiatives, potentially serving as Scrum Master.
  • Guiding system development and implementation planning through comprehensive engineering and integration test plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement both hardware and software solutions, including thorough documentation, testing, modifications, schematics, and parts lists.
  • Evaluate and test hardware and software designs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide support within a Linux-based environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a technical field, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least five years of experience in directing the development, engineering, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
  • A strong passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

While we appreciate a wide range of skills, familiarity with the following technologies is beneficial:

  • Experience in supporting Linux environments.
  • Database design, operations, and maintenance.
  • Reverse engineering and data normalization.
  • Scripting, data analysis, and visualization.
  • Data security and experience with Oracle.

Education and Certification:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required. Additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. An active TS/SCI w/FS Poly clearance is mandatory.
