About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. in Spokane, Washington.

Job Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. This role requires the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures and passing instruments to the surgeon and their assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room
  • Assemble, set-up, and use surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures
  • Pass instruments to the surgeon and their assistants
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing situations
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
