Mortgage Lending Advisor

This role involves working as part of the Member Solutions Center, receiving phone calls from members wanting to apply for a loan, or have questions regarding an existing loan. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, be able to represent the Credit Union in a courteous, professional manner, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000-$85,000 per year, based on location and experience.

About the Responsibilities:

• You will work as a trusted lending advisor, utilizing integrity with every sale and service in all interactions with members and potential members.
• Establish and develop member relationships through an omni-channel environment and maintain the members' best interests.
• Qualify members for appropriate products and services, seek to close sales of lending products and services that are beneficial to both the member and the Credit Union, and achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and other contact and sales goals.
• You will process member loans by phone, interview and qualify loan applicants, review credit bureau reports, prepare all loan documentation, and input information into computer systems.
• Explain all documentation and procedures accurately to members, follow-up with members as appropriate, and assist members with opening and closing accounts, including loan products, as well as notifying members of denied loan requests.

Based on the base job description, the company location is Fairfax, VA, and the schedule is hybrid with rotating Saturdays.
