This organization boasts a robust financial standing and a legacy of operational excellence. The selected candidate will oversee daily accounting functions, contribute to team development, and play a key role in mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Supervise the daily activities of the Accounting Department, currently comprising a small team, ensuring timely and accurate billing processes.

2. Guarantee that all invoicing is executed promptly and accurately, with a strong emphasis on collections and customer interactions.

3. Manage payroll operations, ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions, conducting detailed reviews, and collaborating closely with Human Resources.

4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in alignment with U.S. GAAP standards.

5. Ensure that account reconciliations are completed for all balance sheet accounts during the closing process, utilizing corporate templates.

6. Review and approve all expense reports, conducting analytical reviews of financial outcomes.

7. Perform monthly consolidations of all subsidiaries and assist in the overall consolidation process.

8. Maintain the General Ledger and oversee other financial reporting systems and processes.

9. Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures manuals for staff adherence.

10. Establish and uphold a high standard of internal controls.

11. Create and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual closing calendars.

12. Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and manage treasury functions.

13. Oversee tax-related matters, including compliance, liaising with tax preparers, and managing tax audits.

14. Prepare annual partnership returns.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MBA preferred, CPA required.
2. 10-15+ years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in public accounting.
3. Strong buy-side integration experience is highly desirable.
4. Experience with ERP system implementations is a plus.
5. Familiarity with privately held companies backed by private equity is beneficial.
6. Knowledge of cloud-based ERP GL systems such as Oracle or Sage Intacct is preferred.
7. Proficiency in IBM Cognos or similar business intelligence software is advantageous.
