Faculty Opportunity

Kilgore College, a two-year comprehensive public community college in Northeast Texas, is seeking an adjunct instructor for its Criminal Justice program.

The successful candidate will teach online and on-campus courses at the Kilgore or Longview locations. A strong understanding of teaching methodologies and ability to engage students effectively are essential qualities.

Compensation

This faculty position comes with competitive compensation based on education level, ranging from $1,700 per 3-hour course for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of an associate's degree, preferably in Criminal Justice, plus 5 years' experience in the field (police, corrections, probation, etc).
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to community college education.
