Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as transferring and walking
  • Monitor and report changes in participants' behavior, participation in activities, and general well-being
  • Work to maintain a pleasant environment in the center
  • Participate in staff meetings and daily rounds
  • Assist with planning and conducting therapeutic recreational activities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
  • Limited Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • Experience working with older adults with multiple chronic conditions
  • Experience in leading group activities
Working Conditions

The position is active in nature and requires the ability to monitor and observe the activities of program participants. Regularly moves about or positions self to supervise and interact with participants at their level. Occasionally lifts, transports, positions, push/pulls or moves up to 50 pounds.
