Role Overview

This Speech-Language Pathologist role involves working with clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive or swallowing problems. You will assess their needs and develop individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.

We are seeking a qualified professional who can provide speech and language services to clients/patients/residents, monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly. You will also instruct clients/patients/residents in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises and provide consultation for clients/patients/residents working through speech and language treatment processes.

This role requires ensuring all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols and quality requirements are met. May treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnosis and disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients/patients/residents
  • Assess clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive or swallowing problems and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech and language services to clients/patients/residents; monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Instruct clients/patients/residents in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises; provides consultation for clients/patients/residents working through speech and language treatment processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
