Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of essential skills in communication, socialization, and emotional regulation to enhance educational programming for all learners.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized plans to address communication deficits and promote literacy skills in children with and without communication disorders. You will also serve as a liaison between the AEA, district building(s), families, and community to facilitate positive outcomes for all learners.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree related to speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Iowa license with B-21 Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or Department of Public Health license with Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE) Statement of Professional Recognition.

Work Environment

This role requires ability to travel between schools/sites served. Normal, routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, hearing, lifting, reaching, sitting, standing, vision, and walking may be involved.
