Role Overview

The Facilities Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the daily operations of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily cleaning of all facility areas, ensuring removal of waste and debris as necessary.
  • Perform sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout the building as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including all entrances.
  • Restock and supply all supply closets and coffee stations on a daily basis.
  • Ensure the facility is clean and presentable for inspections at all times.
  • Conduct spot cleaning of restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Daily cleaning of glass entrance doors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in lobbies, hallways, and conference rooms.
  • Spot clean elevator and floor surfaces on a daily basis.
  • Check coffee stations for cleanliness and restock as necessary.
  • Inspect locker rooms and fitness areas daily.
  • Respond to emergencies and requests as they arise.
  • Assist other General Services Representatives and the General Services Manager with daily tasks as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to navigate and resolve issues independently.
  • Collaborative and able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Adaptable and capable of adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a general office environment.
  • A valid driver's license is advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping are required.
  • Occasional crouching and crawling may be necessary.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
