Department Overview
Our Emergency Department features a 14-bed facility with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Our diverse team comprises RNs, CNAs, Paramedics, Secretaries, and Providers, fostering a collaborative environment for delivering outstanding care. We cater to a wide range of patient needs, including abdominal pain and respiratory distress, and take pride in our chest pain accreditation. With an average daily patient volume of 50-70, this position allows you to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess a current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or from a compact state. Additional qualifications include:
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/ENPC certification within one year of hire
• Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
