We are a growing company focused on constructing and maintaining residential properties in the beautiful Big Sur area. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mid-Level Construction Foreman to join our team. As a construction foreman, you will be responsible for leading and supervising construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project timelines.

Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, proven leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the capacity to manage and motivate a team.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per yearCompensation includes a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will also have opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Interpret and execute detailed construction plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring labor and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.
  • Monitor job progress, address any issues or delays, and report them to management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, good attitudes, and professional behavior among crew members.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the Big Sur job site.
  • Work Ethic: A good attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.
