About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Pediatric Nursing Care Specialist. This is a full time position that requires providing high-quality nursing care to students with medical needs in a school setting and in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized nursing care to students with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and gastrostomy tube feedings.
  • Monitor and manage seizure activity, administer rescue medications as needed, and provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state where you will be practicing.
  • Current Health Certificate and PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • At least one year of prior experience as an LPN or LVN, preferably in a pediatric setting.
