As a dynamic and expanding organization, we emphasize innovation, cleanliness, and quality in all our operations. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the capacity of Lab & Greenhouse Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and sanitizing the greenhouse environment for planting activities.
- Transferring potato plantlets from their growth medium into hydroponic trays.
- Assisting in various tasks within the tissue culture laboratory.
Requirements and Skills:
This position offers flexible hours, ranging from part-time to full-time based on seasonal demands.
- Must be adaptable and able to work in a drug-free environment with regular testing.
- Possession of a valid Washington State Driver's License is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness are essential.
- Dependability and responsibility are key traits for this role.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and maintain prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of horticulture is advantageous.
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate. Compensation will be based on experience.
