Job Summary

The Graduate Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Graduate Nurse provides care to his/her assigned patients utilizing the nursing process while coordinating care with other healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides service to patients throughout the lifespan, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric age groups.
  • Assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Coordinates care with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a School of Nursing Program.
  • Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
  • State permit to practice as a Graduate Nurse.
  • Current CPR certification.
