The State of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Client Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Driver Improvement and Ignition Interlock Units, you will be responsible for handling customer interactions and providing exceptional service to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process various reports related to driving records, accidents, license surrender, suspensions, compliances, and reinstatements through the Ignition Interlock program.
  • Collect and process fees for transactions using point-of-sale systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to interact with Vermonters on a daily basis.
  • Work efficiently and accurately under pressure, multitask, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of customer service experience or 4 or more months of experience in the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Ability to work in an in-office setting with regular working hours from Monday to Friday.
