Job Summary

Brightstar Care is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their maximum potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate mobility, coordination, strength, and current level of function. Develop and implement effective treatment plans to achieve client goals and outcomes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams, families, and caregivers.
  • Discharge Planning: Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to develop discharge plans, including home exercise programs and follow-up care.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in coordination of services with healthcare teams, physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university/program
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance
  • Valid CPR certification
