Job Summary:

Rock Solid Janitorial is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our offices, warehouses, and industrial areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform custodial work, including sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and cleaning carpets.
  • Dust and clean walls, blinds, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces.
  • Remove stains from rugs, walls, upholstery, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Set up and replenish cleaning carts and supplies.
  • Empty trash and sanitary boxes, and restock toilet tissue.
  • Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, and other bathroom fixtures.
  • Sweep and mop floors, and use air fresheners to maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform physical labor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle difficult situations in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Reliability and responsibility.
  • Ability to mix cleaning solutions correctly.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
