POSITION SUMMARY:
The Passenger Rail Car Cleaning Specialist is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of passenger rail cars in accordance with scheduled operations. This role requires strict adherence to corporate policies, health and safety standards, and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain cleanliness and shine of lighting fixtures, floors, seats, surfaces, and trim.
- Thoroughly clean passenger cars and restrooms, ensuring bathroom supplies are replenished.
- Care for rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust and maintain furniture and equipment.
- Polish metal surfaces to maintain appearance.
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty waste receptacles and clean ashtrays.
- Transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Replace light bulbs as necessary.
- Adhere to Drummac's guidelines for professional conduct.
- Ensure cleanliness and security around waste disposal areas.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to a supervisor.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A valid Driver's license is necessary.
- Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process is mandatory.
