Job Summary:

Trestonsecurity is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer - Event Specialist to join our team. As a Security Officer - Event Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security services for special events, including concerts, festivals, and corporate functions.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with event staff and security teams to ensure a seamless and secure event experience.
  • Respond to and resolve security incidents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents and events.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Guard card required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
  • Good organizational skills.
