Structural Frame and Floor System Designer

Adecco has partnered with a leading Structural and Civil Engineering firm to fill a Full Time Direct Hire: Engineering Frame and Floor System Designer / Detailer position in their Spring, Texas Office.


About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as a team member, possess strong time management skills, and have Residential and Commercial Structural Frame and Floor System knowledge. They will be able to prioritize and concurrently work on multiple projects and maintain deadlines. At this time, our main candidate will have a strong understanding of Residential and Commercial Frame and Floor System Designs. They will possess the ability to read, understand and draw frame and floor system details. As well as, take existing details with or without redlines and modify to match existing conditions. Candidate will use architectural plans, structural frame and wind bracing plans to create plans.


Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years of frame design experience
  • Minimum of High School Diploma, Technical Certificate or Associate of Applied Science in Design related field preferred
  • AutoCAD proficiency required
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge in Residential Construction, Commercial Construction is a plus
  • Self-starting work ethic
  • Self-motivated
  • Takes initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and proven ability to learn new software programs


Qualifications:

Compensation will depend on experience. Range $25 – 35/hr.
