Job Description

Job Summary

Tilo Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for testing the data migrated from historic enterprise data sources into a cloud-based enterprise data platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test the data migrated from historic enterprise data sources into a cloud-based enterprise data platform.
  • Work closely with the technical data migration staff to plan, document, and execute test procedures in a development, test, and production environment.
  • Produce test results/reports based on key metrics and critical pass/fail points in the migration process.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience performing IT data test services to a nation-wide enterprise environment.
  • 2 years of progressive experience in the design, development, or testing of ETL data migration scripts using Informatica.
  • 1 year of experience testing automated migration orchestration scripts/processes to run the migration jobs on a fixed schedule.
  • 1 year of experience testing data in a secure cloud environment.
  • 1 year of experience successfully working as an integrated member of a large data migration team.
  • 1 year of experience integrating a company's/agency's Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and documentation/artifacts into a data migration delivery and schedule.

Desirable Skills

  • 1 year of experience developing test plans for data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time event processing, streaming, data processing (e.g., Extract, transform, and load /Extract, Load, and Transform), data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance on cloud-native architectures.
  • 1 year of experience supporting the testing of data migrations to a Federal Government agency at a nation-wide enterprise level.
  • 1 year of experience testing data migration from an on-prem data environment into a secure AWS cloud environment. Addition consideration will be given to applicants who have performed this work into a FedRAMP cloud.
  • 1 year experience with Integrated Informatica Cloud Services (IICS) is highly desirable.
  • Test solutions to validate whether requirements have been met; develop test plans, test scripts, and test conditions based on the business and system requirements.

Education

  • Bachelors in IT or 5 years of technical IT experience with progressive growth.

Clearance Requirements

  • Ability to obtain IRS Federal government MBI clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • No back taxes owed (State or Fed).
  • Any Federal Student Loans are up to date.
  • No criminal record.
  • Good credit record.
