Healthcare Support Specialist

A Medical Assistant is needed to contribute to the healthcare services provided by Mymedtrust. This role involves delivering exceptional care to patients while promoting their overall health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Measure and document vital signs, including height, weight, and allergies in medical records and electronic systems.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during procedures.
- Guide patients through tests and procedures, ensuring they understand the process.
- Report any unexpected findings or patient complaints to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in clinical areas.
- Disinfect and prepare medical equipment and supplies.
- Provide coverage for fitness center operations when needed.
- Manage health information and resources for the healthcare community.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as greeting patients, answering calls, and managing medical records.
- Support wellness initiatives as directed by management.
- Perform additional duties as required within the scope of practice.
- Completion of a one-year certificate program from an accredited institution or two years of relevant experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization.
- Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to learn new software.
- Understanding of normal and abnormal vital sign ranges and medical testing results.
- Proficient in using common medical devices and performing laboratory procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.
- Competence in reading and interpreting safety and procedural documents.
