About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Demand Planner and Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team at Gymreapers, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand creating premium lifting gear, apparel, and equipment for men and women.

This role is crucial for maintaining optimal inventory levels, fulfilling customer demand, and driving our growth across Amazon (FBA), business to business (Retail & Wholesale operations) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all product lines using historical data, market trends, and sales insights.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to incorporate promotional plans and new product launches into demand forecasts.
  • Integrate e-commerce forecasting with overall business strategy to ensure a unified demand approach.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across Amazon and DTC channels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies to balance customer service levels and inventory costs.
  • Analyze sales data, inventory reports, and market trends to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate and present reports on inventory performance, forecast accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient product replenishment.
  • Resolve supply chain disruptions and address any issues related to product availability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve demand planning and inventory management processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall business performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, business administration, operations management, or data science related fields.
  • 4+ years of experience in demand planning and inventory management, preferably within the designer and luxury goods industry.
  • Apics Certifications or Lean Certifications are a plus (Planning and Inventory Management ~CPMI, Certified Supply Chain Professional ~ CSCP, Six Sigma Black Belt CSSBB).
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting tools, inventory management software, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, retail supply chain management, and direct-to-consumer logistics is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
