Job Overview

As a Quality Control Liaison at Bond Consultants Group, you will serve as a key point of contact between our branch locations and overseas customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide information and support to external inquiries about our products and services, as well as to handle and resolve complaints arising from these interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confer with branch employees to provide information about supplier surveys, corrective actions, and PPAPs.
  • Document information in the proper AIAG format.
  • Prepare PPAP documentation for parts manufactured in Ohio.
  • Manage the gage control and calibration system.
  • Review manufacturing drawings and assign department-specific check sheets.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports and charts.
  • Maintain approved suppliers lists per ISO/IATF standards.
  • Keep records of interactions and transactions.
  • Responsible for all record-keeping and control of documents per ISO/IATF standards.
  • File department documents as required.
  • Track supplies, gages, instruments, and replenish necessary items using the PO/Voucher system.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Assistant Quality and Plant Managers.

Requirements:

  • Two-year degree (preferred) or 2+ years of experience as an Administrative/Clerical Assistant.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of Quality Control experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented and possess excellent active-listening and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc. (a plus).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with IATF 16949 (a plus).
