Veterinary Receptionist

PetWOW is seeking a compassionate and customer-focused receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play a vital role in providing a positive experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients and their pets in a warm and friendly manner.
- Answer occasional phone calls, addressing inquiries about pets under our care.
- Collect and update client and patient records electronically, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with billing and accounts receivable tasks, including processing payments and reconciling invoices.
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication.
- Provide information and educate clients on hospital and grooming services, products, and policies.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring a clean and professional environment.
Requirements
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while maintaining both kind and professional demeanor.
- Be a self-starter, but able to work as a team unit.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using technology.
- Flexibility to work operating hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
