Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Alaska Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire
- At least one year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
