Job Summary:

L3Harris Technologies has an immediate opening for a Software Project Lead to support engineering development efforts on satellite ground systems based on our industry-leading InControl satellite control software and OnTime planning and scheduling software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW), and specifications.
  • Negotiate contract and contract changes and act as primary customer contact for program activities.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
  • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
  • Support work prioritization across programs in support of release planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience as software lead on a significant program including design, code, unit test, requirements.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating-systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Background in developing and maintaining satellite ground systems.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development (knowledge of Java, C/C++, React).

L3Harris Technologies offers a competitive salary range of $107,500 - $199,500, as well as a variety of benefits including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
