Vice President of Finance Position

Welcome to Channellock, Inc. We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Vice President of Finance to become an integral part of our organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our financial strategies and uphold the integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulating standard protocols for the Finance Department and financial oversight across all divisions.
• Overseeing the annual budget and tax reporting processes.
• Fostering strong relationships with financial institutions and banks.
• Responsible management of all corporate financial resources, including investments and insurance policies.
• Driving continuous enhancement initiatives for robust fiscal governance.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of the Board of Directors and associated legal matters.
• Collaborating with the President and Board of Directors on strategic financial planning.
• Carrying out all other related duties as assigned.

Specific Financial Leadership Duties:

• Providing annual financial reports to the Board of Directors.
• Ensuring all company assets are well-maintained.
• Guaranteeing timely remittance of taxes, assessments, and fees.
• Refraining from engaging in specific financial dealings without prior consent.
• Adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and insurance obligations.
• Safeguarding corporate intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

Secretary/Treasurer Duties:

• Documenting accurate minutes of Board meetings and managing legal communications.
• Acting as Plan Administrator and Trustee for employee benefit programs.
• Serving as the company's legal representative and executing necessary documentation.
• Reporting urgent matters to the President and keeping him updated on ongoing issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in senior financial roles.
• Expertise in ERP systems, Excel, and Microsoft Business Intelligence tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced accounting practices, tax strategies, and capital acquisition methods.
