Job Title: Traveling Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Nurses First Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated travel nurse to join our team in a challenging and rewarding ICU environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced ICU nurse to provide high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
  • Respond to emergencies and provide acute care as needed
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU nursing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
