Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take prompt action to prevent or mitigate them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing clear and concise information about patient status, treatment plans, and progress.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment
- At least two years of experience in the Intensive Care Unit
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
