We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Radiology Associates of Daytona. As a leading provider of patient care and medical imaging in Eastern Central Florida, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Verify patient orders to ensure accuracy and authorization for exams.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and research correct safety requirements.
  • Operate MRI scanners, power injectors, and related equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
  • Prepare and dispense oral and intravenous contrast media.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and perform weekly ACR QA.
  • Perform exams accurately per established protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and process related paperwork.
  • Provide orientation and training to new MRI technologists and student technologists.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology (RT(R)) or Nuclear Medicine (RT(N)).
  • ARRT on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • MRI Safety and protection requirements for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • IV placement and management skills.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in radiologic imaging modalities.
  • 1 year experience in magnetic resonance imaging preferred.
  • General computer navigation skills.
  • Ability to learn and grow with new technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service skills.
