Job Title: Home Health Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Home Health Aide will work under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator to provide custodial and personal care services to clients with varying needs. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in their residences.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care activities as outlined in the client's Plan of Care, including assistance with hygiene, ambulation, and exercise.
  • Assist with light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, sleeping, and living areas.
  • Wash client's dishes or laundry, and perform other tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Provide nutritional support as needed, including preparing meals and snacks.
  • Report changes in the client's condition to the Staffing Coordinator.
  • Assist with the use of devices for aid to daily living, such as wheelchairs and walkers.
  • Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
  • Measure intake and output of fluids, and record temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
  • Keep records of personal health care activities.
  • Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the client and report to the agency supervisor.
  • Assist with the self-administration of medication, including reading labels, opening containers, and handing medication to the client.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in the home or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Must be Hoyer lift trained.
  • Preferred COVID-19 vaccinated caregivers.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $210.00 per day.
