Job Overview

Westamerica Bank is seeking a skilled Central Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our ATM network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and resolve ATM-related claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Visa and Star's claim regulations, Federal Regulation E and Z, and the Bank's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct outbound phone calls to verify ATM transactions and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to various departments and branches.
  • Perform ATM settlement and research, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other job-related duties as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be detail-oriented, maintain confidentiality, and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

A minimum of two-to-three years of progressive experience in banking operations is desired. Proficiency in PC and math skills, as well as a working knowledge of TS, Excel, and Word software, is required.
