This role as a Caregiver Support Specialist at A Place At Home - Alpharetta is focused on providing daily care and support to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing companionship to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Document client care activities and progress

Requirements

  • Experience in caregiving, companionship, or related roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care
  • Knowledge of basic personal care and hygiene practices
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a home care environment
  • Certification as a CNA/PCA is a plus
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
