Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our team at The Retreat at Canton. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the Wellness Director and other care team members.
  • Provide hands-on care, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring side effects.
  • Engage residents in activities and programs that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including falls, injuries, or illnesses.
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, as needed.
  • Knowledge of assisted living industry and dementia care, preferred.
