Job Title: Recruiting SpecialistAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruiting Specialist to join our team at Touching Hearts at Home of Southwest Boston. As a Recruiting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring we have the best caregivers to provide exceptional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-person interviews to make hiring decisions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle.
  • Effectively recruit from digital platforms and build relationships with face-to-face recruiting sources.
  • Facilitate orientation and arrange additional training for staff.
  • Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for a fully digital onboarding experience.
  • Develop and oversee HR programs/policies to attract, retain, and motivate caregivers.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for staff and bi-monthly billing for clients.
  • Assist in identifying company policy violations and resolving performance issues.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Human Resources (HR) role, preferably in a recruiting role hiring hourly workers in high volumes.
  • Associate degree minimally required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal employee relations, wage and hour, and labor laws.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills with the ability to supervise employees.
  • Willingness to fill shifts as a caregiver personally when needed and serve as an on-call caregiver.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities in other disciplines as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle.

We provide in-home care for the elderly, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, safety oversight, social companionship, and assistance with hygiene tasks.
