The Zuni Public School District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a School Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and staff in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with campus administrators, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive health services to students.
Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with identified health needs.
Conduct health education presentations and promote healthy behaviors among students and staff.
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records, including immunization records and medication administration records.
Collaborate with special education staff to implement health-related Individualized Education Plan (IEP) items.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse licensure in the state of New Mexico.
Valid NM driver's license.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a school setting.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents, and community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
The work environment shall be in compliance with OSHA requirements. The employee is frequently exposed to infection at a greater risk than the average person. The employee is directly responsible for the safety and well-being of students.

Competitive salary range of $69,208 to $80,368 depending on experience and education.
