Your Role:

As the Senior Vice President of Financial Strategy, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and senior management to identify and understand the key business drivers that facilitate sustainable growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Developing predictive analytics and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyzing productivity metrics to uncover risks and opportunities for business enhancement.
  • Preparing comprehensive financial plans in conjunction with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Forecasting and Planning
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Ensure the completion of consolidated financial plans, providing summaries and recommendations for management review.
  • Facilitate training for stakeholders on financial planning tools and methodologies.
Performance Reporting and Analysis
  • Lead the implementation of advanced planning and reporting applications.
  • Establish and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
  • Prepare monthly executive review packages and financial reports for the Board of Directors.
Operational Finance
  • Provide relevant financial operational status updates to the Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to promote best practices and enhance financial performance.
M&A Financial Analysis and Special Projects
  • Work with the CFO to prepare financial forecasts for potential acquisition targets.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within FP&A.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling and corporate finance principles.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in government accounting regulations is preferred.
