Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care environment, utilizing the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share knowledge, and promote best practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying patient needs and developing strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 18 months professional nursing experience.
