Job Summary:
The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our social services team, you will provide support and assistance to clients and guests, ensuring their needs are met with respect and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests
Assist with client intake, assessment, and case management
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors
Manage volunteer workers and coordinate volunteer activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
Collaborate with the Service Center Director and SE Director to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
High School Diploma and at least two years of experience in a related field or professional experience in a human services program
Strong communication, writing, budgeting, and record-keeping skills
Ability to work effectively with other employees, agencies, and the public
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training
