Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Assembler Coordinator to join their team in Houston, Texas. This is a Contract position that offers a competitive pay scale with a differential for night shift work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units, adhering to product specifications and tolerances.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools (wrenches, pliers, drills, and impacts) to assemble parts according to drawings/blueprints.
  • Test and calibrate parts to ensure they meet requirements, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Work independently or collaboratively with other assemblers to complete assembly tasks.
  • Apply shrink wrap material to products using a propane hand torch, ensuring proper application and safety protocols.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics, identifying critical components and specifications.
  • Proficiency in operating measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools, including wrenches, pliers, drills, and impacts.
  • Experience working with forklifts or scissor lifts, with a minimum of 3-5 years of operation.
