Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Dental Cleanings and Examinations: Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to ensure optimal patient oral health.
  • Conduct Periodontal Assessments and Provide Treatments: Assess patients' periodontal health and provide appropriate treatments, including diode laser therapy, to prevent and manage gum disease.
  • Educate Patients on Oral Hygiene and Preventive Care: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to promote good oral health.
  • Take and Develop Dental X-rays: Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental issues.
  • Assist in Patient Record Management and Treatment Planning: Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and contribute to treatment planning to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Dental Team: Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Valid and Active Dental Hygienist License: Possess a valid and active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia.
  • Proven Experience: Have proven experience as a Dental Hygienist, with new graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
