Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement of essential components and services to support various organizational and manufacturing requirements. Oversee subcontracts for designated suppliers and commodities.
Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders including Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program, ensuring a meticulous focus on details.
Develop and issue diverse contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M). Lead the supplier selection process, conducting cost/price analysis, fact-finding, and formal negotiations.
Review and negotiate modifications to terms and conditions, as well as agreements such as End User License Agreements. Comprehend component specifications and requirements.
Maintain documentation in compliance with FAR regulations and company policies. Conduct audits of purchase order files and documentation for peers.
Actively participate in departmental and enterprise improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience in procurement within an MRP (ERP) driven manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated history of successful procurement negotiations.
Experience in a government/FAR purchasing environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
Familiarity with contract terms and conditions, along with other procurement-related experiences.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of engineering documentation and product configuration.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in CA or WA is $80,500 - $149,500.
This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
