Job Summary

The Full-time Nurse will be responsible for managing part-time nurses, overseeing client care, and performing nursing assessments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of nursing principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete all necessary documentation for nursing assessments, observations, and planning evaluations
  • Coordinate with management to implement and revise operational procedures related to quality client care
  • Utilize professional assessment skills to identify physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of clients and develop a care plan to meet these needs
  • Act on clients' behalf to ensure patient rights are respected
  • Be aware of home safety issues and strive to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner
Qualifications
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and clients' families
  • Able to handle occasional physical and verbal mistreatment from clients in a professional manner
  • Able to supervise nursing assistants
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, and possess excellent client interaction skills
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current RN licensure
  • Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of Nursing
