Job SummaryThe Full-time Nurse will be responsible for managing part-time nurses, overseeing client care, and performing nursing assessments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of nursing principles.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all necessary documentation for nursing assessments, observations, and planning evaluations
- Coordinate with management to implement and revise operational procedures related to quality client care
- Utilize professional assessment skills to identify physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of clients and develop a care plan to meet these needs
- Act on clients' behalf to ensure patient rights are respected
- Be aware of home safety issues and strive to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner
- Able to work as a team member
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Able to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and clients' families
- Able to handle occasional physical and verbal mistreatment from clients in a professional manner
- Able to supervise nursing assistants
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, and possess excellent client interaction skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current RN licensure
- Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of Nursing
