Job Title: Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse

Job Summary:

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill children and adolescents in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
* Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques

Requirements:

* Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia
* BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
* 1+ year of experience in pediatric intensive care nursing
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
